Guest Rules

All Members and Guests must inform Range Officer anytime they are at the Club. Contact number is 843-604-2767. All Members and Guests must sign in upon arrival.
All Members and Guests are required to report any damage as soon as it takes place by contacting 843-604-2767 (843-604-ARMS).
Absolutely no horseplay will be allowed when range is in use.
Absolutely no alcoholic beverages are to be consumed prior to range use or during range use. If any member consumes an alcoholic beverage while at the range they will not be allowed to return to the range until the following day. If any member/guest consumes an alcoholic beverage before arriving at the range, they will not be allowed to shoot and must leave the range for the day.
Each member will be allowed two guests. Each member must accompany their guests at the range. If a guest is present at the range without the member, the guest will be asked to leave.
Guest can be denied return by a majority vote of club members for any reason.
All members/guests must clean up their mess (i.e. targets, cans, trash…etc).
ANY violation of club rule can be means of removal from Maltese Arms Shooting Club.
NEW RULE: No .50 caliber rifles

Dress Code

No flip-flops, sandals or open footwear of any kind is allowed.
No tank tops or low-cut tops are allowed.
Extremes in apparel or jewelry, which are distractive, disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe will not be permitted.
Undergarments worn as outer garments are not permitted, including muscle shirts.
Torn or ragged clothing will not be permitted.
Eye and ear protection is mandatory for all shooters and spectators.

Waiver of Responsibility

All Members and Guests must agree and sign the following:

I hereby acknowledge that I intend to participate in the shooting sports at Maltese Arms Shooting Club. I fully understand that the unsafe handling of the guns necessary for these sports will endanger the life of me and others. I furthermore represent to Maltese Arms Shooting Club that I will adhere to the rules of the Club in both safety and etiquette, in the strictest sense possible. I also respect the responsibility of the Club to monitor my adherence to these rules and understand that any unsafe shooting and/or handling of guns may result in my shooting privileges be revoked.

I have sufficient experience with firearms to the extent that I am capable of loading, unloading, discharging, and transporting such weapons safely, with the safety of myself and others being my main priority.

In return for my shooting privileges, I release Maltese Arms Shooting Club, its owners, agents, employees, successors, or assignees from all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of any action whatsoever arising out of any damages, both in law and in equity, in any way resulting from personal injuries, property damage sustained by me or caused by me arising out of shotgun, rifle, pistol, or any type of shooting while participating in any of the shooting options available, having my weapons cleaned or stored, or while participating in any other Club function. I expressively wave all claims that I may have against Maltese Arms Shooting Club for each and all of the foregoing. The foregoing RELEASE from liability by me includes any losses, damages, or injuries resulting from any simple negligence of Maltese Arms Shooting Club or their agents and from any simple negligent cause or causes controlled by any of them.
